I am a Black American, Cuban and Cherokee artist with deep roots in the South. I'm currently living and working in Los Angeles. I went to jazz conservatory in Boston and began sewing seeds in New York that led to a vibrant career in performing arts, the music industry, and the art world all at the same time. Spreading love is my life's work. I have forever expressed excessive and necessary beauty &amp; emotion through improvised string compositions, production, and painting on paper and canvas. Lately I've been accepting a divinely guided mission to write a resourceful memoir and poem book called Flying Roaches (2026, probably) that helps young people in vulnerable situations find their inner power to persevere. I'm really about giving people hope because you never know how much love somebody needs when they're in a situation they can't talk about. Some chapters need to be lived in order to be written about, so your involvement with this Patreon project helps me to put time aside and focus on writing very deep words that I hope will change young lives. I plan to bring this to colleges and accessible platforms, one step at a time though. My music and art come from the stories that will be shared in this personal project of love and release. It is ALWAYS a moment ♡Painting is another first love I am loyal to. I have literally chosen paint over food many times before. Last year I had a beautiful vision of a large work that begged me to paint it, so I did. Following impulses to work bigger (6+ feet heavy canvas), I shared my process on Instagram. I'm currently on view in Houston and the Bronx (March 27). It is separate from my music, and I love that, but music does influence how I make patterns and choose colors. I'll post info about my shows &amp; share the serendipitous studio moments leading up to them. But Ima keep it realllll shadow work is a bitch, and I learned that people value what they find out for themselves.
